Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3643 Two Requests

Chapter 3643 Two Requests

"What requests do you have?"The Sky God was very much willing to give something in return if Alex could use his new dao to help her people. Even if it was two separate ones, she would still listen to them.

"Could I request a strong Wood-based cultivation system?" Alex asked as his first request. "Given your physique, you are surely bound to have gathered quite a few of them, right?"

The Sky God was somewhat taken aback by this request. "A cultivation system? What for?"

Bladedance was curious as well.

"It's for Pearl," Alex answered without hiding anything. "From what I have come to understand, he might benefit if he were to learn a Wood-based cultivation technique."

The Sky God slowly nodded her head before even a few seconds had passed. This small request had truly been small enough for her to accept it without any hesitation.

"Alright, done. I'll prepare a few for your beast. You surely don't require it right now, do you?"

"No. You can take your time, Senior," Alex answered. "I won't be needing it for the next few years at least."

The Sky God nodded. "Okay. And what is your other request?"

Alex took a brief moment before he spoke his second request.

"I wish to speak with Senior Yang."

It had been many years since he had come to the Sky God's palace, and he had been wanting to visit him all this time. However, everything else he needed to work on took priority, so he had pushed asking the Sky God for this.

Given the opportunity to ask for something right now, Alex immediately jumped on it and made the request.

The Sky God's eyes sharpened upon hearing that request. "You wish to meet Renye?"

"Yes," Alex said. "Just a single meeting. For no more than a few hours too."

"Why do you want to meet him?" she asked. "From what I understand he's done, he ruined many lives of the mortals in the lower realm he went to. He dragged people out of their regular lives and thrust them into the real world, forcing them to become cultivators.

Many talented individuals lost their opportunity to grow and prosper because he was too lazy to do things correctly. He partially ruined your life too, didn't he?"

Alex hesitated to argue back against the Sky God's claims. After all, she was technically correct.

Yang Renye had been the reason for so much death and tragedy. Just the fact that he had sent many people to their demise simply because they thought it was a game they were playing and nothing more was already an incredibly horrible thing. On top of that, the people making the choices out there weren't them either.

From the day they were sent out into the world, their minds were under the control of their clones, unable to do anything else until the day they died. The only release from that had been when Alex had accidentally overwhelmed the system with the Yang energy that he gained from the Nine Yang Divine Tree's fruit.

If not for that, who knew how many more would've died?

As such, even without considering everything that the Sky God considered to be a crime committed in her own realm, Yang Renye was already a criminal. What he had done by stealing from the Sky God had just been an addition to it. Nothing more.

And yet, after knowing all of that, Alex still wanted to meet him.

"It is because of Senior Yang that I am where I am," Alex said. "His aid during the most crucial moments in my life has led me here. If not for him, I would have remained lost for a long time. So, if nothing else, I wish to show him that I have indeed come here."

The Sky God remained silent, thinking through her thoughts in silent mulling.

"Come on, Newheaven. What's wrong with his request?" Bladedance asked from the side. "It doesn't sound like something that needs to be thought over for so long. Just let him meet the man."

"I…"

The Sky God still hesitated for some reason.

"What's wrong?" Bladedance asked. "Do you really not want your disciple to meet anyone else?"

The Sky God nodded. "That was what I was hoping for. As I've said before, I feel as though I have been light-handed in his punishment for what he's done. Anyone else would've died, but he is only imprisoned. So, if nothing else, I wanted his solitude to be real. If he gets visitors, then is it really a punishment?"

Bladedance looked at the Sky God and slowly nodded.

"Isolation is worse than death," she said. "You can take it from me, who was alone for a long time. Despite having lost my mind during those days, there were periods where I just wanted to die but couldn't. I wouldn't be surprised if your disciple feels something similar right now."

The Sky God crossed her arms, taking in Bladedance's words. She almost seemed persuaded by her. She looked up, staring at the ceiling as she came to a decision.

"You can meet him," she said finally. "I'll see what time I'm free in the coming few months, and I'll take you to him to talk for a few hours. I sadly don't think I can let you in all alone, so I'll need to be there."

Alex smiled. "Thank you, Senior. You have been so helpful."

The Sky God smiled. "I do hope to be," she said as she finally stood from her seat. Bladedance did so as well.

"We won't keep you occupied any longer. You must want to return to celebrating with your family again."

Alex gave a smile.

"Although, if I could ask you for something, could you help Ronron cultivate quicker?" the Sky God asked. "Bladedance here tells me you can do it so long as you take her into your Soul Space."

Alex was slightly taken aback upon hearing that.

"Take Ronron into my Soul Space?" he asked. "Wouldn't I just die?"
