Shen Nian stayed up until midnight last night, and was still full of energy when he woke up this morning.
After a quick wash, she casually enjoyed a bowl of beef noodles in the space, then went out with her basket.
As soon as she gently closed the courtyard door, she saw Su Dingyi and Shen Yulan also coming out of the cowshed across the street. "Xiao Nian! You're up so early today too!"
"Yes, Aunt Su, Aunt Shen! I want to go and see the eggs our chickens laid today." Shen Nian said with a smile, and the three of them walked side by side towards the chicken farm.
When they arrived at the chicken farm, they saw signs that the door had been opened, as if someone had arrived there before them.
Su Dingyi smiled and joked, "I thought we were early enough, but I didn't expect we were still not earlier than your sister-in-law Zhang!"
Mrs. Zhang heard the voices and hurried out of the house: "Comrade Su, Xiao Nian, you are here too! I just got here too."
Mrs. Zhang was holding a basket filled with fresh eggs. She smiled and said, "Look, today's eggs are bigger than yesterday's."
Shen Nian and his companions hurried closer, and sure enough, today's eggs were much larger than yesterday's.
"Sister-in-law, Aunt Su, Aunt Shen, let's split up and go find eggs!"
After Shen Nian made the suggestion, the four of them quickly took action, each carrying a basket or basket, and dispersed to different corners of the chicken farm to start looking for eggs.

After the hen finished laying eggs and walked away, she came back and carefully picked up the eggs. Soon, her basket was filled with heavy eggs.
The four of them met again and discussed it. They decided to let Su Dingyi and Shen Yulan stay and look for eggs, while Shen Nian and Zhang Dasao would go to find the team leader first with half a basket of eggs.
Shen Nian and Mrs. Zhang were carrying eggs as they walked towards the brigade. On the way, they met Ye Jiaojiao and Zhao Gaoxuan who were walking towards the chicken farm.
"Sister Nian, Sister Zhang, where are you guys doing?" Ye Jiaojiao shouted from a distance.
Shen Nian waited until she got closer before answering her: "My sister-in-law and I are going to find the captain. Do you and Zhao Gaoxuan want to come with us?"
Ye Jiaojiao repeatedly waved her hands to refuse: "Sister Nian, you guys should go! I still hadn't had enough of picking up eggs yesterday, so Zhao Gaoxuan and I are going to the chicken farm to pick up eggs."
Shen Nian didn't say much after hearing this, but nodded and said, "Then you two should go quickly. Aunt Su and Aunt Shen are also picking up eggs at the chicken farm!"

Shen Nian watched the two people running past him holding hands, and wondered, are these two a couple?
On the way to the team leader's house, they met Zhang Fengfeng's mother and Aunt Li again. Aunt Li saw the two of them carrying a basket and walking in a hurry.
Curiously, he asked, "Chun Tao's mother, Shen Zhiqing, what are you doing?"
Mrs. Zhang smiled and replied, "Auntie, let's go to the captain's house."
"What are you going to do with the team leader?" Aunt Li asked again.
"I have something to discuss with the captain." Mrs. Zhang said, and then she no longer paid attention to Aunt Li's questions and ran away at Shen Nian's pace.
"Feng Ya's mother, what do you think they are doing? Carrying a basket, are they going to deliver gifts to the captain's family?" Aunt Li looked at the backs of Shen Nian and the other person, turned around and asked Feng Ya's mother.
Feng Yaniang also looked puzzled: "So, should we give gifts to the captain together?"
"Yes! They gave gifts, and they did it together! Do you think there's something wrong with the chickens in their chicken farm?" Aunt Li continued to speculate.

Feng Ya is a girl, and she didn't dare to call the police, fearing that she would suddenly come back in a few days. If she called the police, Feng Ya's reputation would be ruined!
Without Feng Ya, she had no mood to listen to other people's gossip. When Aunt Li saw that Feng Ya's mother didn't want to go, she had to give up the idea.

Mrs. Zhang responded with a smile, picked up the basket and walked in, with Shen Nian following closely behind.
After entering the house, the two placed the basket steadily on the kang table. The captain's wife took a curious look and said with a smile, "What is this?"
"Hey, auntie, these are some eggs freshly laid by our chicken farm." Mrs. Zhang said as she opened the lid of the basket, revealing the neatly arranged and evenly sized fresh eggs inside.
Shen Nian looked at Mrs. Zhang with a proud look on her face and felt helpless. Mrs. Zhang was really showing off too much.
