Honkai Impact 3rd: I picked up a Seele at the start of the game.

Chapter 8 The Bond with Seele

Chapter 8 The Bond with Seele

……

When Seele dreamt of him tonight, she wasn't surprised at all.

She had known Yun Fuyu for three days, and every night she would enter this strange dream. The starry sea was still boundless, the starlight still dazzling, the boy still had his eyes tightly closed, and Xi'er was still unable to move.

What was truly appalling was that in this dream, Xi'er's wrist was constantly being held by him. Unable to break free, and utterly bored, she could only stare blankly at Yun Fuyu. Slowly, slowly, Xi'er began to realize something was wrong.

If Xier's affection level for Yun Fuyu was 10 the night she first met him, then now that number has gradually increased to 50! Besides the fact that they get along well, it's hard to say that it's not because she kept staring at him in her dreams.

People get used to things, and habits become second nature.

Suddenly, the hand holding Seele loosened.

Seele herself hadn't even noticed, but then a voice suddenly rang out, full of confusion: "Seele? Where is this? What are you doing here?"

"Eh?"

When Seele came to her senses, the handsome young man in front of her was no longer asleep with his eyes closed. Instead, he stood a meter away from her as usual, avoiding any appearance of impropriety, and scratched his head with a puzzled look on his face.

...Hmph, you've taken advantage of me here for three days now. Do you think standing further away will make it all go unnoticed?

But that was just a thought. When Seele spoke, she answered seriously, "Seele doesn't know either. But this is already the third day."

Yun Fuyu: "Three days?"

Seele rubbed her wrist, then suddenly pouted and said in a wronged tone, "Ever since the day I met you, every night Seele has been dragged here, and you hold my wrist tightly and won't let go!"

She suddenly moved closer to Yun Fuyu, extending her delicate hand and displaying her slightly red wrist to him. A clear grip mark appeared on her once flawless, jade-like wrist, obviously from being held for too long.

Xier was very close, and Yun Fuyu could even smell the faint scent of soap on her... but she didn't know if it was just her imagination.

Yun Fuyu also seemed innocent, and he said in a humble voice, "I'm sorry, Xier... but I don't know what happened either."

Seele wasn't angry with him at all. Hearing him apologize made her feel inexplicably happy.

But along with this "pleasant" mood, Yun Fuyu's mind suddenly felt heavy, and fragmented pieces of information flooded into her mind—

It seems to be a cheat code?

Why are you only arriving now?

Having grown accustomed to online novels, Yun suppressed his momentary agitation and calmly murmured, "System?"

"..."

"system?"

"..."

Seele's soft voice rang out: "I am Seele, not Seetone."

How did you pronounce those two words wrong? —by Xier's Ramblings

Yun Fuyu pursed his lips. It seemed his cheat system wasn't working. But regardless of anything else, at the very least, his cheat system could definitely help improve his physical abilities. Didn't he look like a little superman now?

He gave Seele a bright smile, completely dispelling his embarrassment, and said, "My tongue went numb, so I mispronounced it! Seele, Seele, Seele, I remember your name very clearly, how could I mispronounce it?"

In the Honkai Impact 3rd game, he particularly liked the character Seele, seeing her as his ideal, gentle girlfriend. Both Seele Vollerei and Seele Vollerei are beautiful names deeply etched in his memory.

Although the Seele before him was most likely the Herrscher of Death from the previous civilization, not the Seele of the current civilization, in Yun Fuyu's eyes, watching her survive tenaciously amidst the ruins of the Honkai, feeling her natural kindness towards him, a stranger, and experiencing her gentleness, thoughtfulness, and meticulousness during their journey together these past few days... Ah, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but that's how he felt.

Therefore, even without the game filter, he can frankly say that he really likes Seele.

If it weren't for wanting to maintain a certain level of reserve in front of Seele, Yun Fuyu would have already shouted "Seele is the best!"

------

Seele, Seele, Seele.

When Yun Fuyu uttered the name, Xi'er suddenly felt her cheeks burning. She wasn't sure if she was blushing, as she rarely had the experience of being alone with a boy her age. So, Xi'er simply forced herself to remain calm and gave a slight smile (a ladylike smile).

"Ok, I trust you."

These few words have an unimaginable power.

Fragmented information flooded her mind once again. This time, Yun Fuyu was more experienced. She closed her eyes and tried her best to recall that fleeting feeling... Suddenly, she had an epiphany.

I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps it's related to "trust"?

He secretly noted down this guess, and in the blink of an eye, the world spun around him, like a light sleeper falling into a deep hallucination, or like a deep sleeper suddenly waking up—

Its daybreak.

Yun Fuyu rolled over and got up, rubbed his eyes, and then went to find Xi'er. The two of them slept in different rooms; Xi'er was in the warehouse, while Yun Fuyu was in the empty room by the door, on guard duty.

Upon closer inspection, Xi'er was sitting on a box, swinging her legs. Perhaps she had begun to trust Yun Fuyu, for her fair legs and delicate feet were exposed, unlike when she had first appeared, when she was completely covered up.

Upon seeing Yun Fuyu walk in, she waved in greeting, then tentatively asked, "Shall we get ready to leave?"

Yun Fuyu nodded: "Let's go."

So the two of them officially set off.

If one had to say the journey was particularly treacherous, it wouldn't be that difficult. Seele was quite familiar with this area, guiding Cloud and Rain around the populated areas. Furthermore, the Honkai had destroyed the local culture and ecosystem, so they encountered neither humans nor any particularly powerful Honkai beasts along the way.

Occasionally, animals whose minds had been corrupted by the Honkai would attack them, but Seele was very vigilant and could always give them a warning in advance. Yun Fuyu's power was also strong enough (brutal and wild), and he could usually defeat them with a single punch.

The only exception was when they encountered a mutated wild dog that was a full two meters long at dusk. It fought with Yun Fuyu for a long time, and even Xier picked up a brick to keep a close watch. In the end, both sides were wary of each other and chose to retreat. But it really scared them quite a bit at the time.

As darkness approached, the two stopped. They studied the map, the accuracy of which was uncertain, for a while, estimating that they had only traveled fifteen kilometers. Although this was not a small distance, it would probably still be difficult to leave the area ravaged by the collapse.

Yun Fuyu was worried, but he had to admit that his immense strength had given him a confidence he never had before. So, in front of Xi'er, Yun Fuyu always maintained a cheerful demeanor, comforting her by saying that he would definitely be able to get her to safety.

But who are these words of comfort meant for?

Seele knew. However, she would always smile faintly and nod to show her belief.

She had no idea how captivating the girl's smile was in his eyes.

He had no idea how adorable his feigned composure was in her eyes.
