Ji Xiaosong patted the dirt off his hands, looked at the empty yard with satisfaction, and said to Wu Chufeng with a smile:
"Great! We can plant crops now!"
Wu Chufeng nodded, his tone tinged with a hint of teasing:
"You're quick on your feet. If Aunt Wang saw that all her precious flowers and plants had been pulled up, she'd probably faint from anger."
Ji Xiaosong then remembered Wang Cuihua, whom he had frozen in place, and quickly patted his head, muttering to himself:
