Chapter 40 Everything Goes Smoothly

Robin rubbed his hands together, looking somewhat hesitant.

Many officers were unaware of who Levi was and were quite critical of Gordon's inexplicable appointment of an advisor.

"Mr. Li Wei, please tell me what you need, and I will do as you say."

Following her gaze, Li Wei noticed a little Black girl in the apartment.

She looked to be eleven or twelve years old, innocent and carefree; she appeared to be Ramirez's daughter.

The little girl is currently lying on the desk in the living room, diligently doing her homework.

"Ramirez, I have something I'd like to talk to you about," Levi smiled. "Don't worry, it's not a bad thing for you."

"Mr. Li Wei, how about we talk on the rooftop?"

Li Wei neither confirmed nor denied this, but nodded and gestured for Ramirez to lead the way.
